Time heals all wounds
Muffling in its fog the cries
Of sought after love
Laying just beyond one's reach

Time does not bring Love through patience
Nor is it Earned through understanding
Though sympathy and compassion
Are a balm and welcome it does not bring Love.

Time waits for no one
What is past is done
What remains is Now

Waiting for Love to happen
Is like a perpetual starvation
And blinds us to the Now
And how unique each day is.

Love happens on its own terms
Independent of our desires
And time has no hold on this
