Completely! The pink bow on top of the skull references the Gothic Lolita. All pink frills and doll like but dark. The look itself is completely contradictory. There most definitely is a sub category among goths that could be described as "perky". I guess I did that stamp with this in mind, its a trend! :D

I don't know much else about it except for noticing what is obvious. In Montreal you find shops that cater to the Goth crowd and there is more than the occasional selection that appeal to that particular trend so it becomes self evident. You wouldn't catch me dead wearing it though. I'd look ridiculous in such a get up...except of course at Halloween in which case I'd look like a parody! :D Typically the market it aims at are very young woman / girl
